ANTI_VIRUS

This configuration variable enables or disables real-time anti-virus scanning in LISTSERV using the integrated Windows Defender anti-virus, which comes with current versions of the Windows Server OS. The anti-virus system scans all incoming and outgoing messages for viruses. If a virus is detected, the message is automatically rejected. This system requires a current support and maintenance contract for use. For operating systems other than Windows, the LISTSERV Anti-Virus Station provides comprehensive virus protection using a specially licensed LISTSERV machine that is employed as an external anti-virus scanner.

ANTI_VIRUS=0

If the supported anti-virus system is detected, the default is 1 (enabled); otherwise the default is 0 (disabled).
