DEBUG_LOG_PW

This configuration variable determines whether to display passwords in the LISTSERV log file for debugging purposes.

DEBUG_LOG_PW=1

To prevent unintentional password disclosure when emailing logs for troubleshooting purposes, LISTSERV suppresses all passwords in its logs. Passwords are replaced with the text "[redacted]".

As it is recognized that sometimes passwords need to be seen for debugging purposes, especially on development servers, this debugging option has been added to override the behavior.

The default value is 0 (obfuscate passwords in the log).
