FIOC_TRIM

This configuration variable defines the threshold (in kB) at which LISTSERV should start aggressively trimming the cache. See the LISTSERV Tuning Guide (available from L-Soft at no extra charge) for more information.

FIOC_TRIM=16000

This is one of three variables that controls how LISTSERV handles its cache. FIOC_TRIM is the point at which LISTSERV should start aggressively trimming the cache in order to free up virtual storage. Typically this value should be set to FIOC_TARGET plus 20% or 512kB (whichever is larger).
