LDAP_PW_REQUIRE_SSL

This configuration variable defines whether to require that LDAP passwords be transmitted over a secure (SSL) connection. By default, LISTSERV will only attempt to verify passwords transmitted over SSL. Note that this option does not control LISTSERV's own use of SSL when communicating with the LDAP server.

The default value is 1 (SSL is required).
