TRAPINThis configuration variable defines a space-separated list of addresses from which LISTSERV should never accept mail. Mail and files from users matching these templates will not be processed but rather simply transferred to the LISTSERV administrator. This parameter is provided primarily for VM sites but is available for the convenience of VM customers migrating to other platforms and should not need to be set by typical non-VM installations. TRAPIN= OBNOX@SOMENODE.NET *@BADNODE.COM Note: L-Soft does not recommend using this keyword to filter out problem users as it does not prevent people at the hosts in question from posting to mailing lists. It controls only how incoming administrative mail (e.g., containing LISTSERV commands) sent to the LISTSERV address is treated. You should use the FILTER_ALSO keyword to filter problem users. LISTSERV® is L-Soft's email list management software, originally developed by Eric Thomas in 1986. Visit the LISTSERV® Resource Center for more complete documentation. LISTSERV® is a registered trademark. The trademark identifies LISTSERV® as a brand of email list management software developed by L-Soft. |
