WWW_CAPTCHA_VENDORThis configuration variable determines which type of Captcha solution to use on the login, new password and subscription screens for an added layer of security and protection from bots. LISTSERV integrates with three of the most popular Captcha solutions (reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha and Cloudflare Turnstile). WWW_CAPTCHA_VENDOR=RECAPTCHA To set up a Captcha solution for your LISTSERV site, follow these steps: Step 1: Sign up for the Captcha service of your choice. Then copy and paste the unique site key into WWW_CLOUDFLARE_SITEKEY, WWW_HCAPTCHA_SITEKEY or WWW_RECAPTCHA_SITEKEY, depending on the service of your choice. Step 2: Create a captcha.keys configuration file with your LISTSERV domain name, your LISTSERV Captcha Badge (if enabled) and your unique secret key. A sample configuration file named default.keys can be found in the "captcha" folder in your archives directory. Enter your details into this file in a text editor, and save the file with the name captcha.keys. Step 3: Use this pulldown menu to select the type of Captcha solution that you intend to use. As soon as you enable this configuration variable, the login, new password and subscription screens will automatically start using the Captcha solution of your choice for authentication. Do not enable this configuration variable until you have entered your site key and created a captcha.keys configuration file with your LISTSERV domain name, your LISTSERV Captcha Badge (if enabled) and your unique secret key. Otherwise, the login, new password and subscription screens will stop working. This configuration variable is not set by default, which means that no Captcha solution is used.
