Reply-To Keyword

Reply-To= List|Sender|Both|None|net-address,[Respect|Ignore]

This keyword indicates whether to add a "Reply-To" header to list mail, and if so, what address to use. It also determines whether an existing "Reply-To" tag supplied by the sender should be preserved or discarded. The default value is "Reply-To= List,Respect".

Setting this parameter makes LISTSERV generate an appropriate "Reply-To" header in the mail it distributes to subscribers. However, it does not guarantee that the mail client on the receiving end will honor the "Reply-To" header. For example, some mailing systems are unable to process a "Reply-To" field with multiple addresses correctly and may therefore disregard the "Reply-To= Both" option and treat it as "Reply-To= List".
